Aligned Pilates Comprehensive Classical Teacher Training

Eight Month Complete 600hr Immersion | Full Apparatus | Classical Rigor

ONLY 10 SPOTS AVAILABLE

This training is for those who love Pilates deeply

For those who have experienced how profoundly it transforms not just the body, but the way you move through the world. Who have felt it make you stronger, clearer, more capable. Who understand that Pilates is not about getting better at Pilates. It is about getting better at life, and living it strong and well.

If you feel called to share that impact with others, this is your next step.

Rooted in Classical Rigor

We teach the full classical Pilates system with integrity, depth, and discipline.

While many modern programs divide comprehensive training into levels to make the material more digestible, we have found that this often produces partially trained teachers, those who know fragments of the method but not the whole architecture. Our program follows the classical approach our own second-generation teachers followed: we teach the entire system, in its order, across all apparatus.

Our own teachers are second generations students of Romana Kryzanowska and Kathy Grant. Through Romana’s legacy, we uphold the rigor, structure, and precision of the classical order. Through Kathy Grant’s influence, we also honor adaptation, discernment, and the necessity of teaching the body in front of you.

You will learn each movement from foundational building blocks through preparatory variations to its fullest expression. You will understand not only what comes next, but why it comes next. Rather than memorizing a rehearsed “intro order” that is later replaced by an “intermediate” or “advanced” version, you will understand the complete system and how to apply it intelligently.

Our goal is not to produce instructors who simply execute choreography. We train teachers who can think. Teachers who can assess, adapt, progress, and omit exercises when appropriate, all while respecting the wisdom and internal logic of the Pilates method.

It is important to us that teachers graduate knowledgeable, curious, and capable, grounded in lineage, and skilled in meeting each body with both rigor and responsiveness.

You will learn:

  • Reformer

  • Cadillac

  • Wunda Chair

  • Ladder Barrel

  • Spine Corrector

  • Full Mat and small apparatus

  • 1. Classical Rigor + Intelligent Adaptation

Most modern programs that divide the work into levels: Intro, Intermediate, and Advanced levels, each with shifting orders and selectively included exercises. In those models, teachers learn segmented versions of the system, which can limit their ability to see the full architecture of the method and adapt intelligently. Each school has a slightly different intro and intermediate order, in order to brand their approach.

We teach the entire classical system in its order, across all apparatus, guiding you through each movement from foundational building blocks to ideal expression and variations so you understand both the progression and the purpose behind it.

Rather than applying a rehearsed “intro order” that assumes every beginner body needs the same sequence, you graduate with the knowledge and discernment to assess the body in front of you and choose exercises accordingly.

This approach develops teachers who are informed, skillful, curious, and confident, able to honor the brilliance of the Pilates method while meeting each client exactly where they are vs. memorizing a branded order.

    2. Applied Anatomy Integrated Throughout

Anatomy is not an isolated lecture or a box to check.

Applied anatomy is woven through the entire six month immersion and led by an instructor with over 20 years of experience, a degree in kinesiology, and the lived reality of building and sustaining four successful studios.

You will learn anatomy as it relates to:

    • Programming and sequencing

    • Progressive loading

    • Injury patterns and chronic conditions

    • Longevity and sustainability

    • Real client scenarios

You will leave able to translate anatomy into action. To see what is happening in a body and know how to respond.

  • This program includes substantial precoursework. You are expected to arrive prepared, engaged, and committed.

Graduation is not automatic. We provide rigorous mentorship, detailed feedback, and consistent coaching. You will be given every tool necessary to succeed. Certification reflects professional readiness, and you must demonstrate that readiness through skill, clarity, and consistency.

You will receive a comprehensive manual that becomes a long term professional reference. This is a working document designed to support you long after the six months conclude.

Beyond technique, you will be trained in professionalism, client retention, communication, and building a sustainable clientele. Technique is one part of our four part framework for teaching success. You will graduate grounded in all four.

  • Loving Pilates is the beginning. Teaching it professionally is something entirely different.

Over six months, you move from being a dedicated practitioner to becoming a thinking, observing, articulate teacher of the full system. This transformation does not happen by accident. It is structured, deliberate, and earned.

You will complete substantial precourse study before immersion weekends even begin. You will log observation hours. You will practice teach. You will be observed teaching. You will receive direct, specific feedback that sharpens your eye and refines your voice.

    You will learn to:

    • See movement patterns quickly and accurately

    • Identify compensations and trace them back to root causes

    • Speak clearly and concisely under pressure

    • Manage sessions with confidence and presence

    • Hold the room with authority and warmth

The classical order becomes more than a sequence. It becomes a language you are fluent in.

You will not simply demonstrate exercises. You will understand how they interrelate, how they build one another, and how to navigate the system dynamically based on the body in front of you.

This is where you stop thinking, “What comes next?”
And start thinking, “What does this body need?”

    Mastery is not memorization.
    It is discernment.

By the end of the program, you will have embodied the work at a far deeper level, refined your own practice, and stepped fully into the responsibility and identity of a professional teacher.

  • The Pilates industry is expanding rapidly, with boutique fitness and Pilates studios continuing to grow at sustained double digit rates year over year. Demand for skilled, classically trained instructors is high. Demand for underprepared instructors is not.

This training prepares you for longevity, not novelty.

Beyond technical skill, you are trained in the realities of professional teaching:

    • Session management and time efficiency

    • Client communication and boundary setting

    • Retention strategies grounded in results and trust

    • Building and sustaining a clientele

    • Positioning yourself in a competitive market

    • Marketing ethically and effectively

    • Understanding studio systems and operations

You are mentored by leadership that has successfully built and sustained four thriving studios. You are not learning theory. You are learning what works in the real world.

You graduate not just with a credential, but with a comprehensive manual that serves as a long term professional reference. It is a living resource you will return to repeatedly as your teaching matures.

This program does not rush you through material to hand you a certificate. It builds a foundation that can sustain decades of teaching.

    Pilates is a lifelong practice.
    Your career should be too.

When you complete this training, you are prepared to enter studios with credibility, teach independently with confidence, and build a reputation grounded in rigor, intelligence, and adaptability.

    Serious work produces serious teachers.
And serious teachers build lasting careers.
