Both sessions limited to 10 attendees
Aligned members get $50 off each session, $100 off the full day, inquire for the member discount code before booking
Morning Workshop (9:30 AM–12:30 PM)
From the Ground Up: Feet, Spine & the Apparatus
Open to all levels
The feet are our first point of contact with the world, yet they are often overlooked in movement training. In this workshop, Blossom Leilani Crawford explores how organizing the body from the ground up can transform strength, balance, mobility, and ease throughout the entire system.
Drawing from her more recent work of the past decade focusing on spinal alignment and her decades of teaching within the Kathy Grant lineage, Blossom will guide participants through an exploration of the relationship between the feet, pelvis, and spine, revealing how small shifts in organization can create profound changes in movement.
Using the Reformer and Tower as our primary tools, participants will experience how the apparatus can provide support, challenge, and feedback that help uncover deeper connections throughout the body. Rather than focusing on exercises alone, we'll explore principles that can be applied across the entire Pilates repertoire.
This workshop is appropriate for students of all levels, as well as teachers seeking to deepen their personal practice and understanding of movement.
Afternoon Workshop (2:00 PM–5:00 PM)
Beyond the Exercise: Observation, Adaptation & the Art of Teaching Pilates
Designed for Pilates teachers and movement professionals
What separates a good instructor from a master teacher is rarely knowledge of the exercises. It is the ability to see what is happening in front of them and respond with clarity, creativity, and purpose.
In this workshop, Blossom Leilani Crawford shares insights drawn from decades of teaching, mentorship, and study within the Kathy Grant tradition. Using mat work as our laboratory, participants will explore how to recognize movement patterns, identify compensations, and understand the relationships between the feet, spine, breath, and whole-body organization.
Rather than focusing on choreography, this workshop examines the deeper art of teaching: what to observe, what matters, what doesn't, and how to make meaningful decisions in real time. Through discussion, movement, and case-study style exploration, teachers will learn how to adapt exercises for different bodies, communicate more effectively, and create experiences that support lasting change.
Participants will leave with sharpened observational skills, practical teaching strategies, and a deeper understanding of the judgment, curiosity, and discernment that underpin true mastery in Pilates instruction.
Workshops and programs are non-refundable, non-transferrable
